Why?
This year, in fact until June 2008, John is President of Penrith Rotary Club. As a personal contribution to club fundraising, and because we want to, we have decided to cycle from Lands End to John o' Groats.We hope to raise lots of money for Cancer Research UK and Eden Valley Children's Hospice in Carlisle UK. The plan is to do the ride in May 2008 without support; just 2 bodies 2 bikes and 4 panniers.

I hope the accident report was completed and a detailed risk assesment was carried out prior to the embarkment of the cycle ride............ Good Luck to you both!
